I'm going to see Mike Stern next week and that's it for this year, unless I head out to club or something.

I only have one show lined up in 2014:

Zappa Plays Zappa on January 30th.

Very strange for me, but I do not currently have tickets to a single show. Most likely will be seeing Musical Box in Grand Rapids MI in January, Tommy Castro (blues) in Kalamazoo MI in February, ROSfest in April, and ProgDay in September, but that’s it right now.

Just added the great Barry Gibb May 19 Wells Fargo in Philly. Last time I saw Barry was on the last Bee Gees tour of the US that was originally supposed to be the All for One tour and include brother Andy who unfortunately passed prior to the tour. Needless to say I am very excited.

    The Pinnacle "2014 touring" schedule...

March 16: NJ Proghouse with The Twenty Committee
Pinnacle will feature Marillion's classic "Misplaced Childhood" in its entirety plus some original Pinnacle music, including something new.

October 11 & 12: NJ Proghouse Homecoming Weekend
Pinnacle will play Pinnacle and be awestruck by Discipline, Echolyn, Meridian Voice Project, Out of the Beardspace, and Schooltree. Two more bands to be announced.

    We're psyched!

I have a busy summer ahead. So far, I have tix for Billy Joel at Citizens Bank Park, taking my daughter to see Bruno Mars, my new girlfriend loves (like, LOVES) Bruce Springsteen, so we're seeing him, she got me Yes tix for my birthday last weekend, and I'm hoping to get Queen + Adam Lambert tix this Friday.

Upcoming Phoenix events - - Taking my son to see the Portland Cello Project's "Bach, Brubeck and Beck" show this Saturday, then my oldest and youngest daughters to St Vincent next Tuesday (I'm as big a fan of Annie Clark as they are).

Considering going to Goblin on May 1 (but the Marquee Theater's an SRO venue and I might not be up to it, health-wise).

Bought the youngest daughter a Yamaha acoustic guitar for her birthday, and am taking her to see the California Guitar Trio on April 20 - hopefully that'll light a fire under her to start taking lessons...

Tool will be here on March 27, Dream Theater April 19, but both are 'been there, done that' events.

Johnny Clegg will be coming to Mesa soon but the venue only had crappy seats available, so I'm on the fence on that one.

Seriously considering Roger Hodgson on April 27 based on the PE reviews...

Brit Floyd will be coming to town - their Red Rocks concert was shown in part on the local PBS affiliate last night, but honestly I thought they paled in comparison to the performance of Aussie Pink Floyd...
