Going to see Geoff Tate's Operation Mindcrime in September. He's playing all of Mindcrime and 4 songs from Empire.

What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

    Massive Attack - 9/24

FWIW - if you're a fan of Mezzanine, try to catch this tour. They sound great, and both Horace Andy AND Elizabeth "holy crap they actually got her onstage" Frazer are with them. Material is kind of a DNA tour; it's the entire Mezzanine album along with covers of some songs that inspired/influenced the album or were sampled for the album (including "Bela Lugosi's Dead" and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone").

Big band, great sound, excellent multimedia. Kind of fun during the preshow because they played warped-out recordings of hit tunes from 1998 (the year Mezzanine came out).
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Sad news about that.. from the Brand X Facebook page:

    "**IMPORTANT CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Canadian Concert Promoter has failed us. They've had Contracts for our shows for more than 5 months now yet JLC MUSIK PRESENTS has failed to send the required deposits, even though hundreds of tickets have been sold, and Tens of Thousands of dollars have been collected.

Sadly, we have no choice but to accept the fact that this Promoter is never going to actually move forward on these shows. They are bound to do the honorable thing and give full refunds via the point of purchase, or via his company. Most tickets were purchased via: www.ThePointofSale.com Or you may contact the Promoter via email: Info@JLCMusik.com

We have already been in contact with other promoters who are in the process of sorting out dates and venues for a future Canadian tour. It's a real shame, as we were REALLY looking forward to coming to Canada, and we had several unique surprises in store.

    Sincerely,

    BRAND X"

As for me.. now I got nothing. Ottawa + winter = music sadness

Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year from The Red Masque!
We had a lot of fun in 2019, from playing at a psychedelic music festival at The Queen in Wilmington, to headlining Orion Studios in Baltimore, to opening up for such avant rock luminaries as Kayo Dot in Philadelphia and Baltimore. We hope to have more great things in store for 2020! We kick things off with two shows in January (the second show is still having some details worked out so please make sure to like and follow us on Facebook for the latest details. We are also actively working on new material (three new songs are currently at various stages of completion) and hope to debut them at a show in the near future.

I just saw them here in Kalamazoo at Bell's Brewery back in October. They were great as usual. Not a very big crowd and I was the oldest person there, but it was a very enjoyable show.
