Anyone who lives in NJ has seen those awful ads by the state describing NJ as "Stronger than the storm", a reference to the hurrican Sandy aftermath. Well they have this dreadful theme song in the ads, kind of Bon Jovi type of sing along thing, just horrid, with the "whoa, oh" chorus and all. Got stuck in my head nearly every time I'd see the ad. Thank goodness the summer shore season is over, so I don't have to hear this ever again.
Jim Croce's 'You Don't Mess Around With Jim" popped into my head this morning and it's still in there.
This is like the human centipede of earworms:
rcarlberg: Is there anything sadder than a song that has never been played?
Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?
bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.
trurl: The Odyssey: "He's trying to get home."
I apologize in advance for what I am about to unleash:
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
Oh god. My daughter and I watch Teen Titans Go and they show that damn commercial 5 times every show.
