That's great! I didn't know she did it already. I saw on the news this week she was trying again. Man, did those jellyfish F her up last year. She did this wearing a facemask and wetsuit. Amazing. I'm really happy for her. Such a great accomplishment.

i know she had escorts but would they have done much good if a shark showed up? took a lot of courage just for that.

She had divers with her the whole way and one or more of the vessels accompanying her was sending out mild electronic waves to help ward off the sharks. Yeah that was one hell of an accomplishment. Good for her.
She is quite an amazing individual. Terrific accomplishment.
I saw her a few years ago attempt to play tennis with the pros in Mill Valley, Ca.
Not much of a player, but lots of fun.
At such speeds, things fly.
