I 've got the 1989 soundtrack to the Russian/German sci fi film Hard To Be A God composed by Triumvirat's Jurgen Fritz on order, but as yet have never heard it.
Any PE members familiar with it? Impressions?

I have recieved the soundtrack CD, and have heard it in it's entirety, and was very impressed. There is an otherworldly element and a depth that is quite spellbinding and moving!
This coming weekend, i will be at my friend's and we will see the whole movie on the above link.

where does one get this disc?
"Es ist nicht licht...."
The main point here is that there is no organ, so if you are expecting something approaching an instrumental Triumvirat, forget it.
Like Doug said - moving. Very symphonic synths. Maybe Wagnerian???
Not bad but gets to feel samey after a while.
Jurgen Fritz did also this album:

Thanks.
Was not aware of this release.
Says neo-classical synth-pop though.
Don't bode well, does it.
I sold my copy of Millenium for $50. It was beyond dreadful.
I also have Mr. Fritz on the Tommy Engel Band CD "Du bes Kolle" from around 2007. It is pleasant enough, but not what i would call progressive.
