I would be more than happier with Jon forming a band and having studio albums.

Well, he has been working on a studio album with Jonathan Elias/Jimmy Haun/Michael Sherwood, so hopefully that will see the light of day, but more generally Anderson appears to have gone off the idea of releasing albums.

Another plus for him being out of Yes. Jon can put music on the net at his pace, and Yes can still release actual CDs for people to buy.

I certainly think a Yes with Anderson would be much slower at releasing albums.

That was my point. People want Jon Anderson in Yes, but it doesn't seem like a good move for either side.

Well, I suspect it would be a good move for Anderson, but you can't make people like each other. If Howe/Squire aren't getting on with Anderson, I think it's foolish to argue that they should work together. One can lament the situation and wish it was otherwise, but you can't force a reconciliation.
