I could do without Bob Newhart. Never thought he was funny at all. Okay, his deadpan style was funny the first couple times but after a while it just got stale. I only watch because of Suzanne Pleschette (or however her last name is spelled). I've gotten really bored with the MTM show but I've been watching Rhoda a lot. Damn was she hot. Even when she was supposed to be "fat and unattractive" she was hot. I loved that caboose and those thighs on her. Valerie Harper was beautiful. I read something a few months ago that she has inoperable brain cancer, or a tumor. That's really sad.
Would love to watch Taxi but by 10pm I'm ready to go beddy bye. 5am comes around pretty early on the east coast.Mary Tyler Moore will still be on at 10pm, followed by Taxi, Bob Newhart, and Rhoda.
Bailey by a mile!
I've got a bike you can ride it if you like
Well, I didn't waste too much time watchng those longer TV series back then (I only watched the 1/2 sitcoms like WKRP, MASH, One Day At A Time, Jeffersons, Sandford & Sons, Three's Company, etc...) when my freetime was plentyful back then, so I'm certainly going to spend my now-so-precious time to watch them ...
Stuff like Dukes Of Hazard, Chips, Adam 12, Love Boat, Starsky & Hutch, etc... noooo thanks back then.... even less so nowadays
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Bob was ok. I have to be in the mood to see an old show of his.
Never could get into MTM or Rhoda, or Lou Grant. As for looks, definitely different strokes, here. To me, she (and Mary Tyler Moore) had that awkward jaw thing going that made them look so skeletal. Bethenny Frankel resembles Valerie Harper... and that's not good:

Do you record programs? Roughly 90% of my tv viewing is via DVR; I skip the commercials! I even watch local news many times via DVR. Every show I watch on MeTV is recorded so I don't have to watch the commercials. I do find it funny that they speed up some of the shows so they can insert more commercials. Watch Adam-12 to see what I mean; they speed up some scenes. Not too noticeable unless it has dialogue. With the dialogue, they sound like they sucked helium before speaking. The opening credits is where it is most noticeable.
Valerie's jaw wasn't that chiseled (not that it bothers me that much anyway). You wanna see an ugly, chiselled, jaw on a woman? Farrah Fawcet. Never understood everyone going gaga over her. I never liked her or thought she was "hot" ever. MTM is way too boney, especially from the waste down. No thighs, no booty, no nuthin.' .Bethenny Frankel resembles Valerie Harper... and that's not good:
No.Do you record programs?
Looks like Gilligan's trying to tame his "little buddy."
I'd take Samantha Stevens over either Ginger or Mary Ann. Or Jeannie
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
Julie Newmar....(Catwoman/My Living Doll).What a piece of work.Schwiiing.

you know the actual liner used in the opening shots and footage has been recently scrapped. It was not necessarily as "loving" in its demise...

"Alienated-so alien I go!"
Gilligan is killing off Bewitched (Sam is my favorite!) and I Dream of Jeanie.
And as much as I like redheads, I have to pick Mary Ann. She aged far better too.
Get Smart is on METV from 1-2am Saturday nights (if it's still on)
I don't watch much more than METV since we don't pay extortionate prices for cable/satellite and network TV is just awful.

"MARKLAR!"
“Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.
There's no way I can unsee that picture of Tina Louise on the right.
Back to the second post about killing Gilligan. My son always said that about Dr. Smith on Lost in Space.
After seeing those two photos above of now-a-days Ginger and Mary Ann; yeah, still Mary Ann.
Lou
Looking forward to my day in court.
in all fairness, tina louise is in her 70's
"Alienated-so alien I go!"
Those two have had some serious work done. Neither looks natural, but Tina looks horrific.
I wonder if Dawn still tokes.
Gilligan was fond of the noble weed as well.
