Billy Thorpe East of Eden's Gate - Opinions?

Rock Candy has recently remastered this CD. Of course, everyone is familiar with his Children Of The Sun album. East Of Eden's Gate was a later album.

I preferred the hard rocking Thorpie to the "Spaceman", but EoEG has it's moments
“Pleasure and pain can be experienced simultaneously,” she said, gently massaging my back as we listened to her Coldplay CD.

I remember the song which was on his "Children of the sun revisited" cd I had a long time ago. I didn't know it was the name of an album also. It was a very good song however. I'll have to look into this.

The first time I heard Children Of The Sun, I thought that Billy Squire had taken acid.

    Who says he didn't?

I think it's the best of his American albums. Good hard rock. East Of Eden's Gate, Nite Rites and I Can't Stand It are my fave tunes off the album. Still like his others Children Of The Sun, 21st Century Man and Stimulation.
