Thanks so much for playing Music Man on show #2 Ian. While I'm kind of locked into Jawdy's Basement on Thursday nights due to contributing a weekly selection of "Buried Treasure", I am planning to get your podcasts so I can join in the fun albeit belatedly.

This week, we are proud to present a truly eclectic setlist, with tunes ranging as far back as the late 60's until 2013. We will be featuring tracks from artists who performed at the Rock In Opposition festival over the past weekend, including Faust, Univers Zero, and Panzerpappa, culminating in Guapo's sensational performance of their opus Five Suns at NEARfest 2006. In addition to this, we will also be featuring some classic Canterbury by way of Caravan and Egg, as well as some modern music from The Wrong Object - a Belgian band which started life as a Zappa cover band, before expanding into their own quirky form of progressive rock. Tune in for all of this and much more!

Such an incredible tune! Like listening to Zappa and Jean Pierre Rampal sitting in with The Who ....

    Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I posted, but Deep Cuts is still going strong! You can listen to the most recent show (#22) here. It features (among other things), a modern group called Blood Ceremony. Think Benefit-era Tull meets Sabbath meets Fairport, with flute. No joke!

Also, if you would like to receive my Press Releases, drop me a line at progrockdeepcuts@gmail.com and I'll add you to the mailing list!
