    Boz Scaggs- Silk Degrees

Not sure if this one has been discussed here lately. I just picked this up for 5 bucks recently, been years since I have heard it. What a great album! With the core of future Toto supporting him, some great stuff start to finish. Porcaro and Hungate just kill on Lowdown. Very Steely Dan'ish vibe on this one. Any fans?
Eric: "What the hell Hutch, it's all Rush, what if we wanted a little variety?"

Hutch: "Rush is variety, Bitch! Rule number one: in my van, its Rush! All Rush, all the time...no exceptions."

    From "Fanboys" 2009.

You bet. Definitely scatches a Dan-ish itch. "Georgia, your Daddy must have been high when he thought of you ..."

My wife is tired of me playing Steely Dan (OK, I play Steely Dan a lot) but if I put on Silk Degrees she sways like a tall willow in a breeze.

Yeah, great album, great talent. The new one, Memphis, is very sweet.

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

Yep, wasn't a fan back when it was on the radio every 5 minutes but it's grown into a favorite over the years...

This, plus a concert back in the day when he opened for Elton John made me a fan. Enjoyable song craft.

Yeah, wow, just had a listen to a bit of Lido Shuffle. I know that song! Must have heard it a million times, and didn't know the title or who did it.
