The Tea Club will not be playing at Prog Day, but Thank You Scientist will!

The Tea Club played Prog Day 2011 though, and we had an awesome time!

I'm planning to be at the Chapel Hill show tomorrow night. Looks like another band is booked to play before Tea Club and Scientist, not crazy about that, especially since it's a week night, but what the heck, I'll give it a shot.

Listened to some TYS this weekend, I'll be impressed if they can pull that complex stuff off live on stage.

Andrea and I will be there too. Perhaps we'll run into you - but not so violently as to cause any beer spillage.

Maybe we'll luck out and the opener will be a winner. No matter what, TC and TYS should be worth a late weeknight.

    Cheers!

These two bands are very different to each other, but they have at least two things in common - they've made some terrific CDs and they put on great shows in Chapel Hill.

The Tea Club is one of our favorite bands, and a bunch or super-nice folks. Their set was terrific, but left us hungry for more. (Greedy proggies always want more, more, more prog.) We hope we'll see them return to ProgDay for a longer performance in the future.

Thank You Scientist were real good too, and their set made it clear that folks are in for a real treat at ProgDay 2013.

Our evening was made especially fine by having the pleasure of meeting Gerhard Wessel and Michael Bennett.

Best of luck to both bands on the remainder of the tour.
