I'm doing this just to see if I can even do it.

My criteria is artists/bands that have multiple albums that I can enjoy start-to-finish and that, at 48, I can still stand to hear after much over-exposure. (This rules out bands like The Beach Boys and The Eagles, which I like, but which only have certain songs that I enjoy.)

    Alpha-order only (with favorite album):

The Beatles including some solo albums (Revolver; favorite solo is probably All Things Must Pass)
    Cheap Trick (Dream Police)
The Decemberists (The Hazards of Love)
The Flaming Lips (probably Yoshimi but The Terror is really good and I love Christmas on Mars)
    Gentle Giant (Three Friends)
    Roy Harper (Lifemask)
Jethro Tull (Minstrel in the Gallery)
    Billy Joel (The Stranger...sorry...nostalgic pick)
The Kinks (Give the People What They Want...nostalgia...)
Led Zeppelin (Houses of the Holy)
The Moody Blues (Days of Future Past)
    Opeth (Heritage or Damnation)
    Radiohead (not sure...)
    Rush (not sure...)
    Steely Dan (The Royal Scam)
Tears for Fears (Elemental or Everybody Loves a Happy Ending)
    The Who (Face Dances...nostalgia...)
    Wilco (not sure...probably Summerteeth)
    XTC (Nonsuch)
Yes (difficult...I might not have a favorite...Tormato and Drama for nostalgia...)

    Next five:

    C, S, N (& Y) (first two are gems)
The Doors (I guess the debut...)
    Genesis (Trespass)
    Queen (not sure...maybe DatR)
    Pink Floyd (not sure...)

    Then it gets tough...
    For that which is not,
there is no coming into being
    and for that which is,
    there is no ceasing to be;
yea of both of these the lookers into truth have seen an end.

No particular order, although the first four are probably in order. After that they could be any of those and I didn't include solo artists who were in these groups like Robert Plant or Paul McCartney. If I did that the list would expand quite quickly. I left it to bands and individual artists.

    Led Zeppelin
    The Who
    The Beatles
    Rolling Stones
    Yes
    Bob Dylan
    Frank Zappa
    Moody Blues
    King Crimson
    Jethro Tull
    ELP
    Genesis
    Rush
    Eric Clapton
    Jeff Beck
    Deep Purple
    Pink Floyd
    Van Morrison
    The Band

I could have easily included Joni Mitchell, Camel, Gentle Giant, Jimi Hendrix, Paramore, CSN/Y, Neil Young, Renaissance, Chicago, Santana, Trettioariga Kriget, PFM, Uriah Heep, Paul Simon, and quite a few others if I had tossed in blues artists.
