Yea, don't know. They just said it was their first night of the tour.

I think it's the first night of this leg of the tour... they've had a break of a few weeks.

Will be seeing them on 7/21 here in Atlanta. Seriously hope that Howe is in top form. I've NEVER seen him have a bad night (during my 12x seeing them)

And speaking of "top form"...I just hope that White can keep the beat...

Saw this show in Dallas, and it was highly enjoyable. Davidson was spot on. Though I would have liked to see Jon, This was still great. I also would have liked to see Wakeman and Bruford onstage, but I also wish I still had my hair.

Going to the worst lineup possible for a Yes concert would still infinitely beat my best days sitting at work. (and this is not the worst lineup)

It didn't take much, but this has got to be the best Yes thread on the board so far!

Funny that you mention Howe as being sloppy - he's usually the one where you wind up saying "how does he still do this, he's like 100"

Howe was on fire when I saw them in Bethlehem a couple of months ago.

He reportedly uses the same hair products that Michael Jackson used.

Its just a minor point.... Watching four members of Yes (during their peak years) performing Yes songs is a far cry from watching guys who try to look and play like them do it. No way are they a tribute band. Chris Squire and Steve Howe (and in some cases, Alan White) actually wrote the parts they are playing live, and that the difference between a Davinci, and a wannabe. Of course I would pay to see these guys play. I would be far less likely to pay to see Jon Davidson and a bunch of other guys turn out Yes stuff live. -Though I could think of worse ways to spend my time than listening to a Yes tribute band.
