    Amateur Photography Thread

Reviving this from the 'ol PM land...

I have traveled a lot with music bands and have always had my cameras ready to go. I like to capture many different things from street life to scenery to concerts and so on. Here is a sample.

Christ statue in Rio. I shot this while in a helicopter:

I am a crappy photographer but I will share a few photos from my music room just for Gruno who if I recall correctly is a major KISS fan.

Nice!!! Honestly, I have none of those stuffed figures but I have thought about grabbing them recently.

I am going to start a "Memorabilia: Music/Sports/Film & more" thread soon! I would love to see some collections of autographed CDs/LPs, posters, photos, and other memorabilia from bands and such. I think it would be cool to see and to share.

Cool, my music room is loaded with cool shit like that. My boy and I collect mostly musicall stuff. Have plenty of sports stuff but it is all put away in storage.

Thanks for reviving my old thread. I didn't post there much but loved to lurk and learn!

    You guys are excellent shutterbugs.

Here's a perfectly incandescent rose; I took this at Paramhansa Yogananda's lake shrine earlier in the year:

Some photos of the His Lai Buddhist temple complex...in, of all places, Hacienda Heights, California; these were taken on a day trip there with Pam George:

Here's one from my album called White Trash Los Angeles: I took this in a well-known 'big box' store. The woman had no idea I was going to make her famous.

Agreed. That first picture reminds me of Echolyn's The End is Beautiful cd cover art.

I'm so sorry about your sister---may she rest.

These are wonderful pictures, especially the kitties.
