Free Prog Sampler from Purple Pyramid/Cleopatra Records

Amazon digital downloads (as with most download operators) are restricted by country. So a digital release on US Amazon is only available in the US. The record company need to separately arrange release in the UK, etc. Good luck in getting them to do that because it looks like a nice collection to get.

I'm sorry to say, I got word from the record company that the initial free sampler was only offered in the US. You were exactly right, Henry. But there may be good news for those in the UK. Here's the reply I got from Purple Pyramid:


Hi Sherry

I spoke with our digital distributor and, yes, the Prog Rock Amazon promotion is only with Amazon US. The Amazon stores in different territories work independently in terms of promotional features, etc. We are currently looking into doing a similar Prog Rock promotion with Amazon UK.

I asked to be kept informed and if the promotion is expanded, I'll post it here. I'm pushing for everyone to be included!
