Please read the information below:
CROMA, began in 1973, during their six years of existence they played many concerts in cities all over the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, both individually and sharing the bill with different progressive rock groups such as: Triana, Iceberg, Atila, Orquestra Mirasol, Suck Electrònic, Tribu, CMB, Borne, etc. In 1976 and 1977, they were part of the progressive rock groups of the Sala Màgic in Barcelona, where they performed many times. In 1979, they recorded a demo with an 8-track tape recorder in the semi-professional studio of the musician Joan Amils, Ripoll (Ripollès).
They took part in the Calella Càmping Rock Festival, which lasted three days, the first one in Spain with such a duration, and where music was combined with other artistic disciplines, that has a name and it is called: VANGUARDIA. It was held at the Camp D'Esports in Calella on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August 1977. Artists and groups of total renown such as Asfalto, Atila, Bloque, Borne, Eduardo Bort, Iceberg, Ñu, Pedro Ruy Blas, Suck Electrònic, Triana... performed in front of 20,000 spectators, during 30 hours of music.
Doble Cos, Double Body, is the title of what should have been one of those works, full of good instrumental progressive rock in the style of Camel, in the style of Gòtic, in their splendid Escenes... Premiata Forneria Marconi... Atila... The band's music perfectly executed by the whole group, with Josep Mª Trotta's elegant and ‘Camelian’ keyboards, Lluìs Escarrà's electric guitar defining dreamy melodies, taking you through mental paths you never imagined could exist, the rhythm section sounding in unison and setting the rhythm like a Swiss-engineered watch. Whoever listens to tracks like ‘Pinotxo’, ‘Ocells’, ‘Speed’... feels that happiness and melancholy in unison flood their brain, the music enters the body, like a hot knife in butter... ‘Somni’, ‘Bye Bye’... and to top it all off, a later track recorded in the 90‘s is added to the work, which follows the same musical line undertaken by the group in the 70’s.
Now here is this original archival recording, with the consent and collaboration of the band members, with a great remastered sound from master tapes, with a bonus-track, glossy trifold three-panel digisleeve, with a very carefully detailed booklet, in a hand-numbered limited edition of 500 copies available, obi strip to be part of the collection of your life.
What can be said about CROMA's music, in a word, it is DELICIOUS! Enjoy it now!
