That's funny - it's one of the first changes I made.
I've been using Firefox, and the old favicon has been working perfectly. So I tried it with IE - and yep, it has the vB icon.
Gotta check that...

Could we have an icon for use on mobile devices like we had on the old site? The image I now see on my iPad is very very very dull

Are you referring to my question/request? If so, it didn't work.
Yes. I've added the Apple-specific icon. I don't have an iPad/iPhone, because I use the (infinitely superior) Android system.
I'll keep plugging away at it, to see if I can find a way to make the Apple favicon ork...
