David Bowie - Toy (The Lost Album)

I just picked up this cd and it is amazing. According to the liner notes, this cd was never released legally because Bowie was changing record companies at the time and a contract got in the way. It was recorded in 2000/2001 right after Hours. Now Godfather Records has released it after the statute of limitations. Any Bowie fans on PE that can confirm this?

Just a nitpick: the statute of limitations, which dictates how long after a crime is committed a person can be prosecuted for that crime, would have nothing to do with it. What matters is copyright vs. public domain, and being only 12 years old, these recordings are obviously still under copyright. I'm glad they're out there to be heard, but anybody selling them on CD is a bootlegger pure and simple.
