I thought Jon Anderson requested his fans ...... not to send him so much fan mail for autographs

Talking about jumping to premature conclusions

    Oh My, My!

Somebody pointed out on another thread, if you don't like watching a show with a guy holding up a device up over his head right in front of you... this is not the show to attend

I think this is an interesting idea for the show. Anderson has embraced crowdsourcing in various ways, and I think crowdsourcing can be an innovative and effective approach to many problems. However, certainly some of his online collaborators haven't found the experience so good. If using so much crowdsourcing, I think you have to manage the situation carefully, and Anderson -- without proper management as an artist, it seems -- perhaps struggles there.

If I was going to be surrounded by people holding cellphones over their heads to get pictures I'd just blow up. Not the concert for me. The footage taken on these things is awful if not in the front 3 rows, it'll be a wonderful momento

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

He's a very, very creative fellow, but "proper management" and "organization" don't seem to be his strong points.

What if the Hokey Cokey really IS what it's all about?

    You're absolutely right!

I've heard he's going to record this next album using a thick Yiddish accent, and lots of Yiddish terms and expressions. Sounds VERY cool - I can't wait.

Just like Bon Jovi did 25 years ago with "Bad Medicine". The Anderson difference is that filming is for a full show.

    LINK

There are two videos for the song, one with the band live in concert, and a more well-known live video in which a crowd of young people waiting in line to get into the video shoot is asked by Sam Kinison if they (the public) "can make a better Bon Jovi video than these guys can." The crowd gives a very enthusiastic response, and members of the crowd are given hand-held cameras and invited onstage to help shoot the video.

When asked about the recent Yes split, Anderson went on to explain that as far as he was concerned "Ain't nuttin changed, still holla at my homies."

Not sure how that's relevant to somebody spending the hours it takes to create a bogus character and put it on wiki.

    That's hilarious.

Okay, so my point should only apply to the person who took the time to write that app.

About 10 years ago, the guys in Spock's Beard and myself had tons of fun putting their site (and other prog band sites) through this:

I don't know why, but I find that site to be hysterical.
