Well it looks like Causa Sui is hard to come by, at least in CD format. Can't find a copy of the Summer Sessions box on the net, and some of the OOP cds appear far too dear.

Did you try looking for each volume separately? It's too bad the band's material appears to have gone OOP twice already within the past couple of years.

If you can settle for dls, Amazon has 6 of their albums. I've recently - finally - capitulated to buying digital albums in some cases, which is why I said 'settle for'. iTunes has CS albums too.

I did settle and picked up a digital download copy of Summer Sessions Vol. 3 last night.

You were right gentlemen, it is really sweet stuff. Right up my alley.

I'll let this one sink in a bit before grabbing the other two in the series. It looks like I have another contemporary band on my radar. If I keep this up, I might even become fashionable in prog circles.

I purchased the Summer Sessions as a 3-CD box set from Laser's Edge a few years back. Check to see if Ken still has some.. I'd recommend the Pewt'r Sessions to those of you enamoured with the Summer Sessions. Very similar in style as the former but without any sax. I first encountered the band when I reviewed "Free Ride" for PE a few years back. It's a decent record but the vocals take some getting used to. The latter material is light years ahead of that debut.

Do you think he'd have stuff that isn't listed on the site? Because there's no Causa Sui there.

He probably got his hands on a small batch of them and sold them off. Many bands listed here and in my stoner thread aren't always the easiest to find. It's almost as if that was by design!

The very esoteric nature of it draws me in. Now I can hunt that 3-disc set as though it were the White Whale. Okay, maybe not the White Whale, maybe more like Snakefinger's Manual of Errors.

The individual discs aren't anywhere to be found either. Hell, the Pewt'r Sessions are very thin on the ground, and they were released last year!

Try writing to the band directly or the record label Electrohasch Records. The worst thing they can say is "no, we don't have any more"

I think Ancestors would also fit into this category:

Not sure this band fits here but I'm taking a chance it does.
