MOON SAFARI new album teaser - Intro for HIMLABACKEN VOL 1

Hey guys, long time no see. We've all been busy in the studio, preparing for the summer release of ”Himlabacken vol. 1”.

Now we'd like to share the intro with you. It's a rough mix so it will sound different on the album.

Anyway, enjoy Moon Safari - Kids:

Cool! I didn't know you guys were working on such an imminent release!

    Who's the Lemieux fan?

Release date august 31st, to coincide with the tour.

The whole album is a nostalgic piece about our childhoods. Everyone was a Lemieux fan back then, huh?

    Roughly translated: Heavenly hill.

It's a hill where the guys from Bergsbyn (Mountain village, where everyone in the band but me grew up) used to play in the winter.

Looking forward to this very much -- since I discovered "Lover's End Part III" three months ago I've played it at least fifty times!

Very nice. A summer release - it's summer here in the UK now. I'll look forward to buying it when it becomes available.

Sounding GREAT Tobias, I love the classic Moon Safari trademark uplifting vibe; no one sounds like this! Looking forward to hearing the album later this summer, thank you for the teaser.

What if the Hokey Cokey really IS what it's all about?

This is absolutely gorgeous -- the way the melody leaps up towards the beginning gives me goosebumps. Not a big surprise, though!

Tobias - you guys will really enjoy the Peel. I can just imagine you doing Constant Bloom for the ladies in the back room.

Great teaser and a second, very different teaser, now on Facebook. Maltby is a great venue and I am also Bilston bound! Happy days ahead!

Here's the second teaser. I'm on my phone right now so this will probably not embed properly, maybe someone can post it again so the player shows?
