    Who's on Bandcamp?

Okay folks, I'm slowly releasing my grasp on physical media (kind of, anyway), and have been freewheeling through Bandcamp for the past few days. If you are registered as a fan, artist, or label, I'd appreciate it if you would post here, so I can add some structure to my wanderings. I'd love to peek in at what you are producing, creating, or collecting, prog or not.

    Many thanks.
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world.

I'm registered with Bandcamp and I think you can see what I've purchased if you pull up the right page.

    Greetings,

Advent (my band) is on Bandcamp as well:

    https://advent-prog.bandcamp.com/

Also, if you (or anyone else) is interested, my buyer identity there is:

    https://bandcamp.com/adventdude

    Cheers,

    Alan

P.S. I really like being able to download albums from Bandcamp in hi-res when available (and we offer a hi-res version of Advent's latest album there as well, BTW).

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I maintain a hobby website where I try to keep up with new progressive rock releases (going back 8 years). I use Bandcamp URLs when I can find them. Just hover over a link and it should tell you whether it's Bandcamp or not.

I am on there as part of Eccentric Orbit. See Sputnik's post above. I keep telling myself I will add Tamandua (my prog rock/free jazz/fake ethnic music "fusion" band) and Ra Quintet ("chamber fusion"?), but I kinda forget all the time.

Well, John, that's just more evidence(as if more evidence was needed) of my total lack of taste in music.

Which is why I'm sure you've totally not snatched up the new Allan Ravenstein album, right??

Au contraire. That gem arrived at Chez Walt a couple of weeks ago.I pre-ordered it when ReR first listed it a few months ago.In fact, i had forgotten if i did pre-order it and was going to email ReR to ask if they had my pre-order when, voila, it arrived.

I like it way more than Ravenstine's last one, The Pharoah's Bee.This one's less abstract, more programmatic, and Ravenstine uses other players, sax, trumpet, double bass and drums on some tracks.I posted a track on FB and here on NP.

It's on my best of the year list.Ravenstine is working on another album.

Cool...I got it from my favorite killer of prog @ Chez Wayside over the weekend. Just starting to dive in but it's very cool. And yeah, I like it a bit more than his previous one as well.

I have 4 CD's up there, love it! Sell most of my stuff through there. I also purchase downloads from there as I don't want physical CD's anymore. My music is all CD quality, but I'm taking AdventAlan's advice, my next release will be 96/24.

Wow, good to know Willy Vlyminck is still alive, thanks to Ian's followship.
Haven't had news from him in a decade

    ============

Considering joining, because I musy say that I am growing tired of averagely-appreciated CDs cluttering up my space... I'd only buy the physical copy if it was close to being indispensible
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
