RUSHHeads did some shows in 2011 and 2012 and 1 of their singers, when I saw them was female, Sarah Spindler.

1 of the best tributes of sorts, bands I have seen is Collective Unconscious. They have made original music, but they also did some amazing complete album performances. The Beatles Abbey Road, The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds with an orchestra, Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, and CSN&Y's Dejavu.
    Very *vintage* sounding.

My band played The Walnut Festival today. Two bands later was Fred Barchetta with a great female vocalist. This band minus the singer
is Points North, a fine original instrumental band. Anyway, here is FB: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB2mPu-d_N0

Beth Patterson in New Orleans is a big fan, usually does Celtic/acoustic music but has a big prog influence and is likely to play this:

Here's an article I wrote about her. In which she claims to be such a Rush fan that the guys she dates have to wear strap-on noses.

Female Rush tribute? How about No Doubt?

When I first heard Spiderwebs at Tower Records I thought it was the new Rush album.

Caress of Steel is the one early album by RUSH that I never really got into.

THe American Idol does Rush video, the bass player isn't even trying to play the bass part. They get a zero pass from me. THey might as well be playing leo sayer lounge-Rush. C'mon dude, show a little respect for Geddy's musicianship!

I realize that ALL opinions are subjective, despite howling protests from the "If I love it and you don't you're an idiot" minions here, but:

PLEASE PUT AWAY YOUR CRACK PIPE!!
