Well, you've had a pretty good life, then.

I remember hearing about these guys getting together to record an album. I was desperate for something to rival close to the edge or relayed and it was exciting to hear about a progressive super group in the studio. It was just a major disappointment.

I dunno how Asia could be "the biggest disappointment of a lifetime". When I think "disappointing" records, i think more of things like Union, Open Your Eyes, or Roger Waters' solo albums (how the frell can you have Eric Clapton or Jeff Beck playing guitar on your record, and it still turns into a total snooze fest?!).

Compared to those examples, the first two Asia albums, at least, are pretty damn good.

    Groundbreaking? I don't think so.

But those first two or three Asia albums were pretty solid, IMO. I haven't really heard any more, except for some of their recent ones (like Omega, which was not bad actually).

    Anyway, I don't hate them.
