    ^ Yes, although I do think the year was top-heavy, with six albums I consider to be immortally great, or nearly so. The '90s improved things dramatically over the late '80s, though.

    Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
    Cardiacs - A little man, a house and the whole world window

    Two of my all time favourites. And it was the year I discovered Cardiacs! So a mightee good year ;-)
