just one question

if you remastered these, why not upload them in a higher quality?

Downloading and going for the mp4 version on the VDGG clip Godbluff
the image ratio is only 480x360!
compared with a PAL video images,
were the frames are always 720 × 576 pixels

Godbluff are available at 640x480. Maybe some error on your software downloader don't capture this available resolution. Youtube don't alow 576p playback. Upscaling the videos to 1080x720p will don't enhance any quality because the source of the video is 480p. If you want see "HD full screen" versions of these footages, an decent video card and a good player will do it for you. Cheers
