    Release Music Orchestra

This band never seems to get mentioned when people discuss Canterbury styled Continental European progressive rock music. Formed from the ashes of the equally impressive Tomorrow's Gift, Release Music Orchestra, especially on their 1976 album "Garuda", seem to take a lot of cues from such Canterbury luminaries such as Hatfield and National Health.

Please see below for the opening track off "Garuda".

Don’t remember much about Garuda, it requires me to take it off the mothballs. Get the Ball is pretty good, underrated jazz rock. The singer is pretty dreadful but fortunately she’s not on it much (if I recall, she was on Garuda even less). Beyond the Limit is more of a smooth jazz album. I’ve yet to hear Life or News.
