Completely disagree....Korn is basically the progenitor of the nu-metal genre, and one of the very first to be branded with that genre label.

And I don't think they sound anything like Tool, either.

When was Korn's first album? Maybe I'm getting them mixed up with Tool. Creed were probably an early nu metal band too then.

Korn's self-titled debut came out in '94. There's no way in hell that Tool and Creed are nu metal. So, stop trying to convince people that they are.

I'm not saying Tool are but I think you could easily argue Creed were/are. If they aren't then what are they? They weren't grunge or post grunge.


Edit: OK Creed are listed as hard rock and post grunge on wikipedia so there you go. I just answered my own question.
