Slide Guitar Master Bob Brozman Dead At 59

I'm stunned to learn of Brozman's suicide today. I've been a big fan for 25 years. Bob was a great player and personality, and he had an incredible knowledge of traditional music and guitar players from around the world.

I read that Brozman was in worsening physical condition due to after effects of a car crash some years ago.Apparently Brozman was finding it more and more painful to play his guitars and this was(apparently) the reason he took his own life.

*this was gleaned from an article in a British newspaper.I hope it was accurate. These days one never knows.

    RIP.

I read the obit in The Guardian, Walt. This seems to be accurate according to their source, producer Daniel Thomas, who worked with Brozman extensively.

One of my favorite album covers . . .that's him playing every instrument.

I don't know how I missed this guy. Listening to samples now. What a shame.

I used to read his column in Guitar Player. A shame, for sure.
