    Dylan's current tour

Saw Bob at the Palace Theater (Louisville, KY) last night. I think that was the most entertaining of the 3 shows I've been to. If you plan on seeing him soon http://www.bobdylan.com/us/upcoming-dates I hope it's as much fun as last night's gig. apparently he's doing the same setlist on each date, but the way some of them were executed last night, there were some curve balls, which is part of his appeal for me.

    Things Have Changed
    Love Sick
    High Water (For Charley Patton)
    Soon After Midnight
    Early Roman Kings
    Tangled Up In Blue
    Pay In Blood
    Visions Of Johanna
    Spirit On The Water
    Beyond Here Lies Nothin'
    Blind Willie McTell
    What Good Am I?
    Thunder On The Mountain
    Scarlet Town
    All Along The Watchtower
    encore:
    Ballad Of A Thin Man

That's according to a review of a prior show than mine. You can keep track and compare: http://www.bobdylan.com/us/events

That's a lovely set list. Was "Johanna" electric or acoustic?

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

I opted to see Neil Young instead of Dylan back in late 1978, a choice I am still ecstatic about as NY performed the Rust Never Sleeps show, one of to this day the greatest concerts I have ever been a part of. Anyway, all these years later, I finally saw Bob, in Brooklyn this past November. Sorry, I guess I still just don't get it/him. Setlist:

    1. You Ain't Goin' Nowhere
    2. Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
    3. Things Have Changed
    4. Tangled Up in Blue
    5. Early Roman Kings
    6. Chimes of Freedom
    7. The Levee's Gonna Break
    8. Visions of Johanna
    9. Highway 61 Revisited
    10. Soon after Midnight
    11. Thunder on the Mountain
    12. Forgetful Heart
    13. Ballad of a Thin Man
    14. Like a Rolling Stone
    15. All Along the Watchtower
    Encore:
    16. Blowin' in the Wind
"Henry Cow always wanted to push itself, so sometimes we would write music that we couldn't actually play – I found that very encouraging." - Lindsay Cooper, 1998
"I have nothing to do with Endless River. Phew! This is not rocket science people, get a grip." - Roger Waters, 2014
"I'm a collector. And I've always just seemed to collect personalities." - David Bowie, 1973

    All setlists are at bobdylan.com

99% of the songs are in the same order every night (from the April tour)......I still enjoy Bob in concert, but sometimes that is hard to do......going to see him again this summer with Wilco and MMJ.

Yes, I know the sets are/were pretty much the same each show. I'd like to go see the AmericanaRama stop in Cincinnati, but after 3 or 4 hours at a concert hall, I'm ready to go home. Never been to a festival for that reason.

to be honest, I don't remember. Bob has this keyboard that can play many sounds, but I think I was focused on him croaking the words. a good part of the time, his voice sounds like he sings through a cheese grater.

Saw him once on the Rolling Thunder Review tour or whatever it was called. I was hoping Joni Mitchell showed for our show but she didn't. Once was good for me.
