I'm just a humble fan of the genre, there are more than enough books about the classice and post 70s Scene of Italian Prog
by guys who are closer to what is happening (and native).

I'm just sharing my scans on current Italian Prog here as I saw there ain't much resources of what is going to happen in the near future.
    (other than what happend).

So listened to Homunculus Res for the first time and it kept popping into my head that this is what would have happened if Frank Zappa had decided to make an album in Italian, produced by Brian Wilson.

Absolutely. I've come to this thread many, many times to see how things are currently shaping up.

I have also gained a huge amount of information from this thread over the years, it is probably my number one resource for keeping up with the scene there. It is great that Italy is still a hotbed of prog. I will apologize in advance for still contending that Marchesi Scamorza are one of the best bands out of Italy (at least one of my favorites)

The guy who was credited for electronics and stuff on the album is now doing the keys. But I agree without the original Keyboardist it wouldn't be the real Thing.

I think Alessandro Lamuraglia was About to release a solo Album ages ago, don't think that ever happend. I somehow have lost contact, so I will have to research what he was doing I seem to remember he was working as Photographer or so.

    P.S.

Interesting. I also found this on Reverb Nation... Pretty cool. Would be nice if he actually did the solo album.

Also a good track, solo Album would be nice. I think he played on a track of one of those Samurai of Prog Albums too.
    (The Gulliver one I think)

Although I'm not into Air Music at all, this band would be an excaption. Something new by AKT

They have a new Drummer and are still working on the second Album. Good News

Oh, nice! I liked them, so that is good to hear.

Just finished listening to the new album from Logos - Sadako e le mille gru di carta.

Entertaining. Pleasant. Some nice melodies that linger after listening. A 21 minute title track. Lots of instrumental sections. It was good but for some reason I found something lacking - not sure what. At times the instrumental breaks sounded like noodling rather than a piece of music that starts somewhere and goes somewhere else. A bit "samey" throughout.

Still, a nice interlude before I start work on a Wednesday.
