    Hey H! We're a quarter way thru 2018.

What are your top 3-4 2018 Italian Albums so far? You can add 2017 "late comers" from Nov-Dec 2017.

Hmm.. In the last years there always where a lot of great releases during changing years, but 2017/2018 there is (was) not
really much (not in quantity or quality).

    So I can only list:

La Dottrina degli Opposti - Arrivederci sogni
    Calibro 35 - Decade
Reale Accademia di Musica - Angeli Mutani (which I haven't bought yet 'cause it's a little to "Pop" for me)
    OAK - Giordano Bruno

I hope there will be many more soon, there are many bands working on albums (but also many vanishing while doing so)

Delta a band that plays rather elegant (somewhat simple) melodic Prog. They claim to be inspired by PFM, I can't say I hear that
but they have a very good (female) singer.

I found a few more that are worth being mentioned here.

    - Overture

    - Marco Ragni - "The Wandering Caravan"

    - Undertable Dreams

None as good as the Homunculus Res though.

Better than both Campo di Marte and Compe di Marte is Gumbo del Madre.

Yeaah, there can't be enough Ske around.

Don't miss "I Cancelli Della Memoria" a Battiato cover band (with original members) by the way (with Ske of course)..

I was actually going to post about Reversal Symmetry who have an album out called "Jekyll and Hyde", but they are to much Heavy Metal for me.

Some of their members where in a band called Layra before. And their very melodic Prog Metal (sung in Italian) was much more interesting:

Hmmmm. I like NaGS, but I'm not hearing much on those teasers to get excited about. I'll assume the whole album won't be like this. At least, I hope not.

It's a concept album about the dynamics of an Iceberg during the last 2000 years..

No, of course not! But those teaser are not very teasing...

    Exactly!

I'll reserve judgment until the whole thing is available. As I say, I like the band and own both their albums, so this is one I'd like to like! Just a weird choice for teasers, imo.
