Good news I was waiting for that one.

Are you doing the "New Prog Rock Releases" blog? I really like that one!

Nice jazzy outfit. Very bad timing but they did Snow Goose

Their usual Sound (like them very well):

I have both their previous releases and I like them very much. That's why I am curious about this Snow Goose thing.

I'm the same. I really like the first two albums, so this one has me curious. Oddly, Greg listed a new album by MSM in his recent email, but the title was one of the first two. I should check with him if he put in the wrong title and actually has Snow Goose in stock.

^Wow. I've never even heard of these guys. How does a band this good get so little press?

IMO, few of the really good bands get much press at all. You have to be on your toes, pay attention to threads like this, and I suggest getting on the the Wayside's, LE's and Synphonic's mailing lists. You won't like everything there, but if you sample a lot of stuff, you'll eventually find the gems.

I was going to do the same thing. I saw his list and I was wondering why did he call it "a new album". Let us know if you get an answer.

As I posted before Maxophone Live in Tokyo will be out in January.

And there will be also the sets of "Rovescio della Medaglia" (End of January, rather Enzo with RanestRane and string orchestra),
and at early February "Museo Rosenbach", all from the same festival.

I ordered the Il Rumore Bianco straing from the artist. Paolo Ricca Group sounds great and as it turns out, their album "Volcano" is from 2009. Had no idea this existed. I need to track it down.

Also it seems like Agora will now finally release their album "Ichinen" next week.
That comback of the 70s Jazz Proggers was anounced since 2006 or so..

Any impressions on the new Distillerie di Malto? I just received it in the mail yesterday and I am spinning it for the first time. 3 minutes into it and so far sounds great!

Just had the time to spin it twice. I think ist a worthy second to the marvelous debut.

Have to give it some more time but I think this will climb to my top 10 of 2013 easlily.

Berserk! (really strong Avant Jazz Prog)

    Dodo Verdict (good new band)

Grammlò (good stuff with obvious Jethro Tull - Santana influences)
