Excellent news! Thanks for posting that.

ouch... just listened to the whole album and it goes downhill fast after the first 2 pieces. The rest of the album is horrid Neocrap. Love the first 2 pieces but as a whole, sad to say, it isn't very good

Il Giardino Onirico - Apofenia will be released on Oct. 2nd

The album will feature the lead singers from "La Maschera di Cera" and "Saint Just" (Alan Sorrenti's sister Jenny)

I'm looking forward to that one

I like this musically, but I hope the vocals aren't all narration.

Sadly they are, their debut "Dio Dio Mio, Che Cosa Abbiamo Fatto" from 2003 has normal vocals and is recommended very highly.

May I recommend my own album, with drummer Bob Leith from Cardiacs ? We're from Rome, Italy...

"Musical definitions – who needs ’em? Actually a lot more folk than you’d think. So, this Sterbus thing, what is it? Clever pop is what it is. Starting with the wordplay of the title; “estate” is Italian for summer, and “inverno” is winter, and through the split between the two seasons and associated moods and emotions, with a CD for each, right up to the last notes of the highly-sprung Trapeze, there is a deep pop knowledge and a sharp intelligence at work here. The Feel Good Album of the Autumn." (Roger Tremwith - The Progressive Aspect)

"Initially emanation of roman multi-instrumentalist Emanuele Sterbini (Micecars, Sweepers, Gli Illuminati) and now duo - with fellow citizen Dominique D'Avanzo - surrounded by a variable team of collaborators, Sterbus arrives at the second album with a lot of excellent ideas (it's a double), the participation of one of their idols (Bob Leith, drummer of Cardiacs, a very manifest reference, behind the drums on all tracks) and, most importantly, the ability to put so many irons in the fire - starting from the easiest ingredients: acoustic or power-pop guitars, woodwinds and keyboards of all kinds - without burning anything. Honoring without emulating the already-mentioned Cardiacs and the XTC pop feeling, in addition to that prog and art-rock closer to the soul than to the brain" (traduzione della recensione di Alessandro Besselva Averame su Rumore - 8/10)
