I didn't see any mention of the Lateral Blast's "La Lune nel Pozzo":

    Cool cover too:

    Another unexpected comeback:

Absenthia (remember Tenebrae Vincunt?) have a new Album out called "Novecento"

This is great news as I really love the first one. Now let's only hope that Grand Turismo Veloce manages to get their second out the door.

    100% autobuy!

They owe me that second Album! I allready paid it years ago...

But there is no hope left really. Claudio Filippeschi now plays in a band called "Klare" (weird mix of styles, but not Prog), Massimo Dolce works in a Live Club.

Yes, I paid for it too. I don't care about the money (actually I do), I just want the music. Wouldn't have a problem paying again.

I would pay again gladly if it would bring me the Album..

There is a very limited (100) issue of a teaser 3 track EP of the 2nd Album, this was only sold at a Festival in Germany (which I could not attend).
(They could at least have sent this one to the Raisers)

Eris Pluvia's new Album Different Earths will be out in autumn (also there is I think just one original member left (bass player))

Desert Wizards are also working on a new album

This one is now available as a CD as well. Very good stuff indeed:

Never heard of these cats, but this is supposedly their 5th release. Who knew?

Another debut, though this one sounds more English than Italian: Eveline's Dust - "The Painkeeper". Not really RPI, but if Echolyn and Spock's Beard are your thing, give these guys a try:

Thanx Zalmoxe for posting those vids. Res Gesta really should get more Attention, I also think that Eveline's Dust should please many Proggies that are normally
    not into italian Prog.

Mad Crayon will release their 4th Album which is inspired by Magritte paintings. They say it will be a bit different to what they used to do before, whatever that means...

Hopefulls Quarto Vuoto will have their first fulltime Album (there is a great EP) finished soon..

also new Album by Karmamoi (very modern style with some metal influences)

I'm also really digging this album, may be my favorite so far this year. I love Deus Ex Machina, but personally I don't hear much if any similarity with them. To me, Macroscream is a modern take on Gentle Giant.

I wonder if the track "Goliath" has something to do with the history of Gentle Giant. The way I read it is that people thought Punk was the new music and progressieve rock and GG could die, but after a while those people realised they were wrong...
