I have not gone through all 30+pages here but has the psych band Manthra Dei been mentioned? Their music has elements that should please a certain prog demographic:

Le Orme's Felona E/And Sorona 2016 arrived today from BTF, with a second copy of disc 2 taped to it...? Does anyone know the reason for this?

Perhaps there is a known flaw with the original disc 2? I ripped both discs with iTunes and sampled each track on disc 2, and there don't seem to be any issues.

For those who didn't like their debut "Sisyphus" because of the singing of Alessandro Patierno should check this out, since they have a new singer, Luca Marconi.

This track, Unquiet, here performed on a jazz-festival, is on the album too:

Yuup, "Sisyphus" had it's Problems, it also sounded like a tape demo from the 70s. But you could still hear that their was a lot of potential in this band.

You can hear the "Unquiet" Studio Version on the AltRock site, and it sounds great!!!

    Or just go here:

After loving their second album a lot, I bought Sisyphus and after listening to it with heafphones I don't think it sounds like a demo-tape. The sound is good, but over all less symphonically arranged than the second album (read: the Mellotron isn't in charge as often as on the second). The folk-influence is larger, which is especially clear after hearing the many violin-solo's. The only "problem" people mentioned in reviews was the singing of bandleader Patierno. Although he's not a singer like the new one Luca Marconi I would call his voice rather curious than bad. He would fit very well in a blues-rockband ;-)

I found the band whilst researching for italian Prog in the net back then. I streamed the Album many times, but to me it sounds as someone recorded the band through a brick wall.

I didn't had a Problem with the first singer as I could hardly hear him. So I didn't buy the Album, maybe the CD sounds better or it's a Problem with my computer's sound system.

Yes Mad Fellaz II is out for some months now. It's just very badly distributed and way to expensive if you can find it.

    Streamed here:

hmmm... it is hard to get indeed. #1 I got on ebay, #2 isn't there (I can only see one there). I'll wait, or might as well buy wav on bandcamp.

Looks like there will be a new Album by "Consorzio Acqua Potabile"- "Coraggio e Mistero" featuring Alvaro Fella from "Jumbo" very soon....

    Sounds tasty!

They had a better taste in covers before though..
