Jeez - they're still together? Or have they broken up and reformed? Wasn't Il Passo del Soldato their previous album, and wasn't that like 20 years ago?

Interesting. Any idea what the line-up is? I really missed Alex Camatti on Il Passo Del Soldato.

    ^^

As far as I know it's the trio line up that played on the latest album (the one with the compilation and live tracks).

Walter Pini, Guglielmo Mariotti, Davide Guidoni

I hope they might get someone to sing on this one.

I will let you know if I learn more about this.

Too bad it's download only. I'd buy that CD instantly!

including original "Eris Pluvia" vocalist (and guitarist) Alessandro Serri.
Montobbio was actually Serris replacement on guitar in "Eris Pluvi"a as he left to form "The Ancient Veil".

Looking forward to what will come out of this, cause "Rings of earthly Light" was a favourit of mine in the early 90s.
    Hello Everyone!
Yes , eventually the new Narrow Pass' line up will be coming out with a new record ;-) The disk is now under press and scheduled to be released by Christmas time.
The great news is that the record will be featuring Mr. John Hackett on flute on 4 tracks!
I'd like to share with you a Promo video ;-)
Thanks for watching :-) Mauro & Narrow Pass

Cool. I was hoping that compilation wasn't going to be it for the reformation. Their last album proper "Il Passo del Soldato" (1995) was absolutely awesome, as are all their albums really.

Alex is in the new line up!

As correction to what I posted before the line up is:

Walter Pini - Alex Camaiti - Maurizio Sarri - Maurizio Marra

Fantastic! Pini is great, but Camaiti is the voice of the band to me. I'll definitely look for this one. Thanks!

I've recently been getting into Beppe Crovella's "What's rattlin on the Moon". Does he have other releases in this vein?

Another one from Italy that I did not see it being mentioned here (or anywhere else on the website for that matter):

    Zion - "9P Nove Pianeti"

I need to pay attention to this thread! It's been a few years since I bought "new" Italian. I have several segments on my radio show that "new" Italian would slide nicely into.
