Watched the Locanda delle Fate DVD and in this combination it works much better
than the LP or CD from that concert!

Just ended watching Disc 1 of the Osanna DVD, what a great concert. Love the very clear and transparent sound.
Always very good fun to see weirdo Gianni Leone.

The Maxophone is really a winner, I'm looking forward to the new studio album!

    Now spinning Bernardo Lanzetti...

Also at that Festival "The Waking Sleeper Band".

I have to amitt that they were the only band I didn't know before. They seem to be a Aelian spin off.

    not bad..

Sadly, the only Holiday I'll be enjoying around that time is the St Louis Cardinals left fielder Matt Holiday

Yer putting a knife in heart!

Osanna is probably my favorite Italian band, Forse and Missing Fireflies are two of my Prog Italiano favorites

Will you go to the show?

He kicks ass - love his antics

An icon of the RPI scene!

Speaking of guests, I kind of have a thing for Sophya Baccini, as I said earlier I think she's marvelous on this show - lady can sing!

I like Sophya Baccini's voice very much, ever since her days with Presence.

The Lanzetti show is marvelous, I have to admitt that his voice was an aquired taste.
But now I really like him.

I have "Evil Rose", but it's a little "metal" for my tastes - no denying the voice though

And what do you make of this?????

    lanzo carp.jpg

Thrown in DiGiacomo and you'd have the RPI Mt. Rushmore

    Have you seen Lanzetti's blog?

Evil Rose is by far the worst Presence Album, and yes they are heavy but not really metal I think.

I'm not to much into Alex Carpani, it's more conventional brit style retro neo prog.
He could use some really strong vocalists as it is not his strong side.

Also I think the combination is appealing, I would prefer the guys with their own bands.

Some crossing all over band (pop, prog, funk, jazz, folk etc.) I really like Nanaue (and note the lady on the keys).
(not very proggy, but sometimes they have a lite Genesis touch)

On this very sad weekend for italian prog, it makes me even more sad that my latest post on this thread
featured Francesco performing with "Estate di San Martino"..

But life has to go on..

This Festival is getting better and better (I hoped so much Banco would join in..)

This very promising band will also appear (could someone please sign them!)
    Panther & C.
