Where Maiden is concerned, you named the two albums I like best
My favorite is Piece Of Mind. I really need to visit Nicko's Rock And Roll Ribs in Coral Springs. That's in South Florida. Not that far away.

I think "Painkiller" was actually a little bit ahead of it's time. The album features a lot of brutal metal. For me it is one of Priest's best, but opinions vary on that.

There is nothing like the DiAnno years. The first few albums with Bruce were great indeed (as music is concerned) but don't come close to the reckless abandon of the debut or Killers. Dickinson was a better singer in Samson i.m.o.

This year marks 10 years since Ronnie James Dio's passing. The greatest voice in rock. Genius. Unequaled. RIP (Rock In Peace).

Theyre good. I don't own any Rainbow but have heard them on YouTube. If you like Dio and Ritchie/Purple the albums with Dio are worth investigating.

Not as good as "Rising" IMO, but both worthy albums.

Thanks. I have Rising but haven't listened to it in a long time. Have recently been hearing Dio and Rainbow on Sirius and have really been digging this stuff.

John, this sounds very promising to say the least. I'll be on the lookout for the LP release.

The first time I listened to it I wasn't sure, but something compelled me to listen again. After the second time through it engaged me enough that I listened to it a few more times. Looking forward to hearing the full release.

Has the energy of early Venom, Motorhead, Anvil - the good, fast old stuff.
