I have their greatest hits CD and like it. Never explored much further though. They had a bunch of catchy songs.

As mentioned above Alter Bridge is much better. It is basically Creed with a great vocalist.

Listening to Black Label Society.....Stronger Than Death. It's got a strong Pantera vibe. Zak is a good guitarist.

    Somehow I came upon Ozzy
...No More Tears. I've played it 2-3 times today on Tube. What an epic track. I like that proggy, symphy bit in the middle.

That whole album is one of his best IMO.

Yes, it's a good album, you can't go wrong with:
Lemmy (RIP), Ozzy, Zakk and Castillo (RIP) … Lemmy wrote the lyrics for six songs but only four were used on the album AFAIK.
    Pura Vida!.

I am pretty sure that Duncan and Mr. Battema will really dig this, but hopefully some of you that aren't taken aback by extreme vocals can get on board too. On a rating of 1 to 10 I give this a HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!! This might be one of the most 'progressive' things I've heard in a while.

The video (for the whole album) is pretty intense too:

Thought I had to have "the Power Metal" conversation with my 20-yr-old son yesterday while playing a Helloween track.

ME: It's a kind of Metal called Power Metal.

Him: I know about Power Metal.

Hmm, I wonder how he knows? Oh well...

Not though the entire thing yet but yeah! Crazy dynamic shifts, hyper-complex with shifting meters, big chunky blocks of chuggah guitar sludge that is almost imperceptible as to what key they are actually playing in, diverse vocals, etc....very good. They seem to bring something different to the table, which is what I'm looking for at this point. This seems to be a good example of the post-Gaza, post-Crowpath, etc grindcore that needs to progress to keep it interesting, at least to me. Thx man.
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

Finally listened to Dehumanizer today for the first time while walking the dog. Fantastic album. Great vocals and riffs abound. Very melodic as well.
