I'm still experiencing metal burn out so I played an Alan Holdsworth album. RIP.

NP: Eric Gales Band.....Psychedic Underground. It's not metal but the early influence and spirit of Metal is evident.

Listening to an obscure, British, proto-metal band called Orang Utan. YouTube is unbelievable. The world's greatest jukebox.

Just a few months ago in May....

Nicely filmed and recorded a full 55 minutes of classic Armored Saint!

Wow seems like John Bush still has "it". IMV Bush was always one of the better voices of the era. To see him and the band still as vintage metal (even if hairless) as ever is thrilling and gratifying. Great metal ain't dead yet.

Interesting comment Bush makes about their big regret about not touring Europe earlier. He implies Armored Saint could have been one of the Big 4 (5!) along with their contemporaries Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax. If they had only considered going global....

John's voice is my favorite out of the Big 4 (5), much as I love the Mustaine Growl, Bush has the superior range over all of the above. Only Bruce, Ronnie James and possibly Tate top Bush IMV....

    Great band.
Watched some of the video and they do sound really good.
Had to stop because it's fucking depressing seeing all these gray-haired old thrashers in battle jackets standing perfectly still and shooting the show on their damn phones.
I'll listen to the rest later. Thanks.

Got another, heavy/proto/metal band on my Youtube, home page feed. TOAD (1971) from Switzerland. Pretty damn good. Enjoying discovering all this stuff.
