    Hidria Spacefolk- Astronautica

Did we discuss this album here when it was first released? Just downloaded it yesterday and my initial reaction is quite favorable. In fact, it may already be my favorite of the ones I own ( HDRSF-1, Symbiosis, Balansia). The band really seems to have found their sound on this one. Any fans?

PS: Thanks to Reach for mentionning this band when we shared a few pints on Saturday. He made me remember to look them up on iTunes!

It is a great album.Near maximum volume is recommended.
    Overshadow by year 2012 selections.

I try to figure track "Badding" but nothing refers on music to "Badding" They recorded album on same neighborhoods - must be it.

    Great character in finnish music.

An excellent album. Made my top 2012 album list (in 7thish...I honestly don't remember). Certainly their best to date.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.

absolutely fantastic instrumental space rock.... near the top of my list for 2012. GREAT in the car, cranking it up while hurtling down the highway.... and even more subtleties brought out by a close listen at home on a good stereo.

Very enjoyable album. Their second best to my ears (equal to "Balansia").

Just took it out of the car changer after a solid couple of weeks in there. Great album. For fans of this style, you might also like the new one by Taipuva Luotisuora.

I played this at a "prog" listening party on the weekend and it got a number of "likes".

Where did you find more than 3 proggers in Ottawa and how come they never attended Progtoberfest?

Ha ha ha, very funny. I'll have you know, it wasn't in even in Ottawa, I had to travel seemingly forever to get to the wilds of northern Gatineau.

Seriously, it was at Philippe Beaudoin's - the host of the radio show Le Vieux Mellotron on CHOU. Most of the usual suspects were there, but not Keill or McFee. Get this, there were prog girls there!
