    Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

    For me, Hidria has an outstanding melodic, harmonic, and textural sense (and of course great rhythmic drive)-- they are a cut above.

    I always lumped Hidria Spacefolk in with Taipuva Luotisuora, even if the latter has moved in a less spacey direction of late. I find both bands create wonderful, driving, instrumental rock music with a slightly spacey vibe, but Hidria is a bit more consistent. I rank both of their new releases very highly.

    Spinning Symbiosis...been a looooong time. Saw these lunatics at NF.....loved it! Might have been my first NF. I'll check out Astronautica.
