Not to be confused with Glyn Johns, his older brother.

I'm listening to Stand Up by Jethro Tull in his honor; he engineered that.

On behalf and request of my friend John (Johnnie Burns)....

    Thanks Jim
I didn't know this bad news, I was in a band with him when we were " him 15 & me 16, young teen hopefuls! He after joining his brother @ Oympic Studios to train as as an engineer he managed to get me a job @ Morgan studios as tape opp/ tea boy. We were the very best of friends and shared an apartment together for some time.
I haven't seen him for 30 years but I spoke to him only 2 years ago.
A great loss to the music world!,,,
Andy Jones was an inspiration to many musicians and certainly to me as an engineer/ producer.

Is this from John Burns that was the co-producer for Genesis?
