seeking recommendations for Forum software

I've been tasked with "creating community" on a website I'm developing (in drupal) in the finance domain. I'm reaching out for recommendations, and advice in general, for choosing Forum software. There are alot of options, some free, some not. I like the ability to configure the placement of folders, tabs, menus and the ability to add photos and videos directly to posts and to have personal avatars/images.

The current plan is to use Disqus. Does anyone have any thoughts on Disqus? What other applications should I consider?

I researched several forum platforms before settling on this one for PE.

It deosn't do some of the stuff you're referring to, though it does most. But if you're prepared to modify the source code (which I won't do here for various reasons) then you can make it do pretty well anything you want.
