Runrig, though more rock than prog, have plenty of songs in Gaelic.

Here's one, covered by the great Julie Fowlis (not prog, but definitely a "banger"!):

One of the most exciting, & progressive, Gaelic contemporary artists is the Scottish small pipes player, Brìghde Chaimbeul.

This song, which closes her recent album Carry Them With Us, has her beautiful singing at the end: https://brighdechaimbeul.bandcamp.co...a-the-haunting

Clannand is a prog/new age band often featuring Irish Gaelic lyrics.

How about "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict?"

I'm Scottish and can't think of any Gaelic-singing bands that aren't in the folk-rock genre.

Oi Polloi are a Scots Gaelic punk band - but I think that they probably fall outside of the OP's terms of reference!

Again - possibly falling on the thither side of what Brian might be interested in - the music of Martyn Bennett is wonderful. He started as something of a prodigy on the pipes, but then crossed over into contemporary dance music...there's Scots Gaelic samples in his music; plus, he has collaborated with his sister, who sings in the Gaelic (but, as Halmyre suggests, this latter is very much in the Scots folk tradition).

Capercaillie, Breabach and Rura all feature lyrics in gaelic. And they're all great.

This is a one-off by Hidden Orchestra. One of my favorite tracks of theirs.

In all fairness, the vocals were lifted from a track by McMaster & Hay (with their permission of course). The same vocals appear on a Christmas song by Sting.

I would recommend looking into Mary Ann Kennedy, for example the band Cliar, she was part of. M-A Kennedy also released a couple of albums under her name and produced quite a few e.g. album Greisean Greine by James Graham. She also produced and narrated 6-parts of the Highland Sessions by BBC Wales. They are an excellent starting point to get into Scottish Gaelic vocals.
