    Danny Cavanaugh interview

I did this interview with Danny Cavanagh about a month ago, for the new album out under his "Weather Systems" band name. It's rare to see Danny doing interviews since the breakup of Anathema, and even here he just had his audio feed, no video of him. But I thought this would be of interest to all Anathema fans who have been wondering about all of it, as we talk not only about the new album but about relations with the rest of his previous band. Well, here's Danny's side of things:

Thanks - I enjoyed that interview a lot. Danny sounds like he's in a positive space and it's nice to hear that relations with other ex-Anathema members are good. I'm content for Danny to move forward with Weather Systems being effectively Anathema in all but name. I got into the band when WHBWH was released and I've enjoyed all the albums since then to varying degrees. (I also enjoy the three albums preceding WHBWH but nothing earlier than that appeals to me). I enjoy Danny's writing on all that material so Weather Systems will continue to scratch my Anathema itch. Having said that, I haven't purchased OWAS yet because the CD seems to be either out of stock or over-priced.

Thanks for doing the interview, I posted it on here a few weeks ago. I really enjoy the new album, highly recommended for fans of Anathema.
