thanks for being a real one Brett. there's a thread about turn-offs in modern prog and the main one to me, is albums that just aren't recorded or produced well. I get it, of course. I do very minor sound stuff myself and I 100% believe that this is more expensive than most people know. but this kind of music deserves to be presented that way. hence why I've often held Eddy Offord in as high a regard as any of the musicians themselves. Echolyn, your music has always held a special place in my heart, I've put down the $60 even though I do not actually have a CD player anymore. also if it's not too much to ask could you please press every single one of your albums on vinyl?

Great to read your responses Brett! I’m in the group of those who truly want to hear your new music. I recently attempted to post a second $60 pledge for an additional CD for a friend of mine who traveled with me to Cal-Prog to see echolyn blow our minds all those years ago. I’m sure it’s operator error. But maybe you know a work around?

According to what I read on the page, a prepaid Visa card would also work. So if the means of payment is the ONLY reason you are holding out, that would be your option because it means you don't need to use your card info. You could buy a prepaid card and use that instead, specifying just the amount you want to pledge (plus $1 for the pre-authorization).

Gotta believe Kickstarter's website is secure. The company has been in business for 15 years and looks to have an annual income over $1 million dollars. Additionally, most, if not all credit cards and banks will help you when fraud happens. But I'd say it's highly unlikely here with both Kickstarter and echolyn.

Well, I'm in for tier 2. REALLY hoping they meet the goal and REALLY excited to hear this music!
This is not a risky investment into a startup company or emerging technology. No one's going to lose their money here.

Great question... not sure how to do that. I found this KS link. Perhaps it will help you.

Oh man - thank you sir! Truly appreciate your support!
Means a lot. We are trying.
So kind. After all the time, tears, and hard work we have put into these songs... the final step will be the joy of sharing our music with folks like you. I sincerely hope we pull this off and you get a chance to hear the songs.
Brett

I finally got around to pledging. Only tier 1 since I'm not working right now. Good luck, once again!!
Finally got my pledge in. Hope they reach their goal and we all get new Echolyn music soon.
All the best to the band.
The band posted that they are going to Nashville today to mix and master. So things are moving forward regardless of the status of the funding campaign.
