I've gotta say that, personnel concerns aside, Symphony Hall in Atlanta is potentially a pretty intriguing venue for Yes music. The only rock show I've ever seen there was Sigur Ros who totally and completely floored me. The thing I hate about outdoor amphitheaters is getting beer sloshed on me and hearing the dread "Sorry chief." Call me "chief" and you've got an enemy for life.

And Yes (ahem) these are the same 3 (TYA, CTTE, G4T1) albums they are currently touring. Also, the band has 8 shows scheduled late May in South America; 6 in Brazil, one each in Chile & Argentina. The Yesworld site is now referring to this as a World Tour, changing the Spring Tour moniker and prefacing other dates around the globe.

Saw them in Louisville a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its the first time I saw them do Going for the One (song) and Turn of the Century live. They were really on most of the night although the mix was somewhat poor -- the keyboards were way too low for the first half of the show. And just how many more times are you going to get to see Howe and Squire live? Every time I see them I assume it will be the last time.

I saw Billy Joel there way back in the day. My only problem with the place is no center aisle. It's a looooong way feom the middle of a row to the bathroom.

Looking at the venues it looks to me like the ATL Symphony Hall gig is the only venue of its kind they are playing so it stands out a bit from the others. There are other places in town of roughly comparable size that are more rock type venues. Given that a lot of TV and movie filming takes place in GA lately because of some tax incentives put in place here a few years back it makes me wonder if they aren't eyeing the ATL gig as a possiblity for shooting and recording.

Mountain Park in Holyoke is about ten minutes from my house. I haven't been to any shows there ( a relatively new outdoors venue) but have heard good things. I will be there on 7/27!

Just snagged front row center thanks to an email from my brother re: pre-sale which is happening right now!

Best show for me, as it is a Saturday and I can either drive or fly. I've been to this casino before, and it's one of the better ones in the Sierra Foothills.

I hated missing Yes in Seattle a month ago, so I'm determined to catch them this time around, even with only two albums at this venue instead of three.

I can't buy my ticket yet. I won't get my first paycheck from my new job for awhile, so I will be in a sucky seat, but that's okay. I was front row for Yes a couple years ago. I can't expect to get that lucky too often!
