Gary Wright footage from '76 show in San Diego

If there was someone filming that day who shot footage of Gary's set.. has any of Yes' performance surfaced from the same show? (around the 2:30 mark you see the laser light set up above his head)

Very tantalising to clearly see parts of Yes' stage set.

Indeed it is, and I am in that audience. Gentle Giant opened, then Gary Wright, Peter Frampton, and Yes.

And I was at Santee Lakes in the East County of San Diego attending a family gathering and absolutely inconsolable that I was missing the concert…

Actually Balboa Stadium. (There was no Qualcomm Stadium in 1976; that one was then called simply San Diego Stadium.)

Wow, pro shot with at least two cameras, great audio & piped-in crowd noise in places. Maybe this was shot for the.local news station and they quickly packed up and left the scene to get the footage on TV?

My parents might still have one of those Coleman water jug things visible briefly at the 0:24 mark. Just thought you'd all want to know.

No bass, just keys and drums, plus two backing singers visible in the clip below. The guy with glasses and the pink jumpsuit is Steve Porcaro. The strap-on keyboards he and Wright have are custom-built Moog controllers, basically the front half of a Minimoog connected by a cable to the guts of the instrument.

I saw that keyboard player and my first thought was that he really looked a lot like Steve Porcaro but thought "Nah, can't be him I guess". Thanks for confirming it is him.
